She bustles around her kitchen, back and forth. Sometimes Lola doesn’t even taste her sweets, because over the years she has learnt how to tell if everything’s going well solely by sight, touch and the subtle aroma that each recipe gives off at any given time. She chooses each ingredient as if it were for her. But it never is. She lacks no energy when it comes to beating her creams and mixes, doing so with pride and professionalism.

She bakes and sets aside with patience, never in a hurry. Believe it or not, Lola doesn’t enjoy eating her own desserts. She enjoys it when you or your guests close your eyes out of pure pleasure when tasting them, when you recognise these traditional flavours prepared like never before. Lola enjoys sharing her years of expertise. Because Lola doesn’t just make desserts, she lives for them.
